Climate Mates Anne Marie Huey & Emily Hinds, along with Bureau of Meteorology Climate Scientist, Dr Andrew Marshall, are heading to your area to talk seasonal forecasts and the weather that affects your area.
Where: Jeremy & Amy Trembath’s property, Lonesome Duck Station, Stuart Highway Katherine
When: 10.30-11.30AM, Tuesday 29th August 2023 followed by lunch (supplied).
What: Presenting the latest long range seasonal forecast, current climate drivers, where to look, useful apps, all in an informal & open forum with questions encouraged.
Topics:
▪ The main drivers affecting the climate and weather in this region
▪ How to access and interpret medium to longer term seasonal outlooks
▪ Land and herd management decisions affected by seasonal outlooks
▪ Demonstrate a number of useful forecasting products, tools and websites for production decisions.
