North Australian Climate Resilience in Agriculture Forum


The Forum brings together key stakeholders and programs working across northern Australia to:

  • Develop an understanding of activities currently occurring and planned accross the region

  • Highlight gaps and opportunities, synergies and benifits for future RD&E investment

  • Provide direction for future projects and opportunities to develop collaborative partnerships

Facilitated by Dr Jeff Coutts, the Forum will provide opportunities to discuss and workshop ideas with other groups.

Professor Mark Howden (ANU/Vice-Chair IPCC)will challenge participants to devise practical and transferable solutions that enhance our collective learning and support climate adaptation in agriculture across the northern Australia

Location: The Pavilions at Allan Border Field (Captains Room) Brisbane, QLD

The Forum is a collaboration between Queensland Drought and Innovation Hubs (TNQ and SQNNSW), CSIRO Drought Mission, Bureau of Meteorology, Commonwealth Future Drought Fund Programs and the Queensland Government (DPI, DETSI, QT)
