From Ideas to Impact: Grant Writing That Gets Results

The Northern Hub partnered with Regional Development Australia NT to bring comprehensive Grant Writing Workshops to the regions in the NT.

We've been thrilled to see such strong attendance and fantastic feedback from our recent Grant Writing Workshops which were held in Darwin, Alice Springs and Nhulunbuy in May/ June!

One participant, Hans from Barkly Backbone, shared:

"I really enjoyed the grant workshop and found it incredibly valuable. The content was presented in a way that was easy to follow and understand, and the facilitators broke down what can often be a complex process into practical, achievable steps. I left the workshop feeling more confident and better equipped to approach grant opportunities and funding applications. Thank you for delivering such an engaging and informative session."

The workshops were designed to help Community Groups, Councils, Aboriginal Organisations and all businesses build the practical skills needed to prepare stronger funding applications. For smaller and remote communities in particular, securing grant funding can make a significant difference to delivering local projects and creating lasting impact.

Participants learn how to:
• Understand funding guidelines and eligibility requirements
• Write clear, compelling project outcomes
• Avoid common application mistakes
• Align projects with what funders are looking for

📍 Our final and next Grant Writing Workshop will be held in Katherine on 13 August 2026.

We'd love to see you there!
