The Northern Hub is proud to introduce its regional Node Managers – a team of locally based professionals dedicated to strengthening drought and climate resilience and preparedness across Northern Australia.

Spanning the Northern Territory and North-Western Australia, Node Managers are hosted by trusted regional organisations and serve as the Northern Hub’s direct connection to local communities, landholders, and stakeholders. They represent the Northern Hub at regional events and are a key contacts for information about current projects, funding opportunities, and initiatives under the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.

"Our Node Managers bring invaluable local knowledge and strong community relationships to the Northern Hub," said Leia Grimsey, Director of the Northern Hub. "Their presence on the ground ensures our work is genuinely community-led, responsive, and tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities in each region. The team will play a critical role in driving forward our shared vision for a more resilient and sustainable northern Australia."

Each Node Manager works closely with local partners to deliver Hub activities such as workshops, field days, and community events. They are also tasked with identifying emerging opportunities and local needs – ensuring future projects are grounded in community priorities.
